This year there were 49 applicants. The Foundation awarded the following fifteen grants to STCS staff members. Congratulations to our winners!

Project: Air Compressor & Paint Sprayer

Note:
This will purchase an air compressor and paint sprayer for the Industrial Technology department.

 

Project: LIFT
Recipients: Leah Markey, Robin Beamish and Elizabeth Richardson

Note:
This will cover the expenses of training the LIFT mentors.

 

 

Project: Geocaching
Recipient: Bruce Sherbeck
School: White Pine Middle School

Note:
This will purchase a GPS device for use with students doing a Geocaching hide and seek.

 

 

Project: Phonemic Awareness

School: Speech/Language Pathologists

Note:
These funds will purchase additional phonemic awareness training materials to facilitate Phonemic Awareness in the classroom and enhance the role ofspeech/language pathologists.

Project: "Cool Tools"

This will help purchase costumes, props and set materials for the 7th grade choir and art student performance of "Dig It!", a musical.

This 3rd grade study of Saginaw will purchase disposable cameras and compile a scrapbook of "My Home Town: Saginaw."

 

 

Project: Award Winning Yearbook

This will purchase Photoshope Elements software and In-Design software to use in developing a WPMS yearbook.

 

 

Project: Franklin Talking Dictionaries

This grant will purchase eight Franklin Children's Talking dictionaries with headphones for Special Education students.

 

 

Project: Touch Screen Monitor
