Nominations are now closed for 2022 Annual STCS Foundation B.L.O.C.K. Awards. B.L.O.C.K. stands for Benevolent Leader Of Creativity and Knowledge. We recognize four STCS teachers, one at each level, grades K-2, grades 3-5, middle school and high school each year. We will also recognize an administrator, community member/parent volunteer, and a non-teaching STCS staff member that shape learning for our students, families, and/or our school community.
The STCS Foundation seeks nominations for these awards each year. All it takes to nominate a Benevolent Leader is to fill in the blanks of the online nomination form. On the form just tell us why your nominee should be honored. If you are wondering what to say, think about this: we want to celebrate leadership, creativity, knowledge, kindness, compassion, innovation, collaboration, communication, and pro-activation throughout our district schools.
You might relate a specific anecdote that makes your nominee stand out, or a long-standing record of exceptional effort. In short, tell us specifically how that teacher, staff person or volunteer makes your child’s day at school better, or your interactions with our schools smoother and more effective.

A committee selected by the STCS Foundation Board will review the nominations and select an honoree for each of the seven categories.
