Heritage High School held their Amazing Race Season 20 fundraiser! This event raises money to help local families in need through the holiday season.
The 2nd hour classes raced to raise as much money as possible during a 20 minute time frame. They ran through the halls to deliver the funds to the library and the event was livestreamed on YouTube. The class that earned the most money, per active student average won a catered lunch.
In 19 years, Heritage has raised a total of $159,337.36 and numerous families have been helped from this event!
This year the total raised was $4362.62!! With a grand total of $163,699.98 in the 20 year history of the race.
Heritage students joined the SCC Hospitality program students visiting the DOW, Bavarian Inn Lodge and Restaurant. We are so grateful for the great presentations on Sports Tourism, Event Planning, Hospitality and post-secondary educational options from so many leaders in the area.
The Sophomore Class Friendsgiving on November 24, 2024 was a huge success. We had 39 tenth-graders use their Sunday afternoon to make 40 fleece blankets for the local animal shelter. We are proud of our Lightning McQueen Pit Crew
