Congratulations to our HOSA State Leadership competitors from this past weekend in Traverse City. Special shoutout to Addisyn Heinz, Kamsy Uwaje, and Sara Zacharek who took 2nd place in Medical Innovations and will be moving onto Internationals in Nashville this summer. Also to Maahi Patel, who ran for State Officer, making it into the top 3 in our region.
During Unified Pledge Week, STCS Elementary and Middle Schoolers came to Heritage to take part in activities through the KNOTS and Peer to Peer programs. This collaboration allowed students to build friendships, develop empathy, and experience the power of inclusion firsthand.

Health Science Industry Talent Tour These amazing 10th-12th grade students joined us for a day of touring local hospitals, and health centers in our area! They talked with panels of professionals in all levels of healthcare, as they planned to get career information, and advice on how to best attain their health career goals. Thank you to all the students who attended, we hope these connections lead to beautiful pathways of success!

The Multicultural Club Showcase featured worldly fashion, cultural dancing, singing, and even a historic Samurai battle, it was our best effort to reflect the diversity and unity within our community.
It was an event that showcased the beauty of different cultures, and we are deeply grateful for the love and support we received in making it come to life.

We had an MJP (Model Judiciary Program) team composed of Brody Amthor, Zack Kennedy, Nathan Booth, and Brock Allardyce make it to the semifinals in the mock trials.
David Fiore was named the most outstanding attorney of the conference! Zach Chaltraw was runner-up for most outstanding legislator in the House, Nick Champagne was named the Red House Writing Clerk, and our legislative team got a number of their bills passed.

Congratulations to our Heritage Unified Basketball Team on their game Tuesday night. We are so proud of our athletes who have been working so hard practicing and getting ready. This was the true meaning of Inclusion and community. Thank you to everyone who helped make this such an amazing night!!

Several Student Assembly senators and a few Leadership students traveled to Frankenmuth for the Michigan Association of Student Councils Regional Connect. We had two groups present showcases presentations on events at Heritage.
There were four showcase presentations who moved on to the state conference, and both of our groups are two of those four! At this conference, they will have a chance to win $1000 for our organization.

She will also be presenting at our state conference on the Main Stage for a chance to win $1000 scholarship! Hayley Ortega also did a fantastic job presenting, but alas, there can only be one person who moves on to the state conference
Any Saginaw Township resident 62 years or older is entitled to a STCS Senior Pass allowing admission to school plays, concerts, athletic contests and more! Senior passes are available at the Board Office (located inside Heritage High School) and never expire!
Get all of your gift wrapping done tonight! What?! Yep..Heritage High School's National Honor Society will do it for free! Bring your haul over from 6pm-8pm TONIGHT (Friday, December 13th) and they'll happily do it for you!
Heritage High School held their Amazing Race Season 20 fundraiser! This event raises money to help local families in need through the holiday season.
The 2nd hour classes raced to raise as much money as possible during a 20 minute time frame. They ran through the halls to deliver the funds to the library and the event was livestreamed on YouTube. The class that earned the most money, per active student average won a catered lunch.
In 19 years, Heritage has raised a total of $159,337.36 and numerous families have been helped from this event!
This year the total raised was $4362.62!! With a grand total of $163,699.98 in the 20 year history of the race.
Heritage students joined the SCC Hospitality program students visiting the DOW, Bavarian Inn Lodge and Restaurant. We are so grateful for the great presentations on Sports Tourism, Event Planning, Hospitality and post-secondary educational options from so many leaders in the area.
The Sophomore Class Friendsgiving on November 24, 2024 was a huge success. We had 39 tenth-graders use their Sunday afternoon to make 40 fleece blankets for the local animal shelter. We are proud of our Lightning McQueen Pit Crew
