Aircraft Day The Midland chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association invites you to their Aviation College and Career Day at the Jack Barstow Airport on this Saturday April 29. This is an informational event beginning at 10am. Students can learn about many different aviation careers, such as pilot, flight instructor, airport management, airplane mechanic, and more. There will be representatives from Slipstream Aviation and various higher educational institutions.

Do you want to improve your wellness? Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) aims to create a healthy and positive environment through leadership and smart decision making. Join Students Against Destructive Decisions to talk about mental health, substance use, and more. We’ll participate in red ribbon week, volunteer projects, chocolate Tuesdays, and mobility safety events. SADD is also a place where students can de-stress by participating in relaxing self-care activities ranging from journaling to meditation. Please come to the first SADD meeting after school next week on Tuesday, April 25th in Mr. Wilson’s Room 115.

Join us on Friday, April 21st in Room 317 after school for an eco-friendly Earth Day Celebration with the Earth Club. We'll have snacks, drinks, and take-home planters, as well as a special screening of an eye-opening environmental documentary. Learn about composting with our guide and gain insights into pressing environmental issues with the documentary. Don't miss this chance to celebrate sustainability and protect our planet. The Dress Shop will be open Friday, April 14th, from 2:40-6:00 pm in the Student Center for any students looking for a prom dress.  We have a wide variety of sizes and styles that are completely FREE to students.  We do have some accessories available for FREE as well.  If students have any questions, they are welcome to stop by Mrs. Egerer's room 225.

Heritage, it is prom season! Guest forms are now available in the main office and must be returned no later than April 18th. Juniors and seniors may purchase prom tickets starting next Tuesday, April 11th at all lunches. More information coming soon as well as the BIG theme reveal so stay tuned!

Are you a 10th-12th grader interested in a Construction career?  On Wednesday, April 26 you are invited to attend a field trip to the Construction Career Center in Howell.  You will do hands-on indoor and outdoor construction activities and operate and experience heavy equipment.  Construction professionals and programs at colleges will also be present.   You will be gone from 8am - 3:30pm.  Due to some generous grants, this opportunity is completely free. See Mr. Bidwell or Mrs. Hill to get your permission slip.

PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB: Our next meeting is Wednesday, March 8, in Mr. Willey's room, 202. We will be using Photoshop with one of your photos on a fun project. Upload your photo to your Google Drive to access during the meeting.

Art Club's next meeting with be Tuesday, February 28th in room 351.
