Registration is now open for the Generation Next: Embedded Coding Scholarship Competition! This program was designed to recognize, inspire, and support future local talent here in the Great Lakes Bay Region! This great opportunity offers up to five, multi-year ($2,000) scholarships and a potential co-op/internship offer for high school students graduating either this year or in 2024. A local company is looking to fill a temporary position that involves remote working in the summertime. If you have computer skills, strong communication skills (spoken and written) and are interested in a business field, this summer position might be right for you. The Career Exploration and Job Fair will be on Thursday, May 11 from 10:30am-1:00pm. Local businesses, organizations, colleges and universities will be here to share information and opportunities with students. All students are encouraged to participate during their lunch periods after eating. A list of participating businesses, schools and their current opportunities is posted in most of your classrooms. Because time is limited at lunch, students are welcome to sign up for extended time at the job fair using the QR code on the screen or by stopping to see Mr. Sandow or Mrs. Hill. A pass will be made and provided to excuse the student for these requests. Students are encouraged, but not required to bring a resume.

The 2023 YEARBOOKS HAVE ARRIVED! The Yearbooks have been delivered to Heritage and will be distributed during Spring Fever! If you have not yet ordered a yearbook you still have time. However, you are encouraged to act quickly as there are ONLY 50 Yearbooks left to order. When they’re gone, they’re gone. Absolutely NO extra yearbooks have been ordered! DO NOT miss out on your opportunity to have a yearbook this year. This is your LAST opportunity! Yearbooks have sold out in the past, so don’t wait until it’s too late. Seniors, Cap & gown delivery will be on Thursday, May 11 during lunches and after school from 2:40 - 3:15 in the hallway in front of the trophy case. You will need to check in at the Cashiers Office prior to picking up your cap & gown.

The Triple Achievement Award is an honor for graduating students that excel in three areas. They include academics, athletics, and extra-curricular activities. Each of the three sections has its own specific requirements that will have to be met in order to receive this honor. If earned a cord can be purchased to wear at graduation.
