Job Shadows

A Job Shadow is a great experience for a student to get familiar with a specific career or a job.  Job shadows are recommended for all of our high school students.  Each job shadow can be a unique experience, but usually it will involves at least 2-3 hours for a student to observe of someone working on the job.

There are many ways that job shadows can be set up.  Some students and families set these up on their own time using their own connections.  Some families choose to set these up outside of school time, like during summer or other school breaks.   Another way to setup a job shadow is by using our Work Based Learning Coordinator.   Stop in to Mrs. Hill's office or email her for more information (sdhill@stcs.org).  Students can also print and email the the forms below for more information and to get the process started.
