Welcome home, Eagles! 🦅 Today the Eagles finally were able to return to the nest and we want to take a moment to celebrate the faces in this photo. From wading through the cleanup to reimagining our spaces, this group of talented individuals have demonstrated what true resilience looks like. Their energy is fierce and equals their passion to ensuring every student can soar to new heights at Arrowwood. Congratulations to our book raffle winners. All of these students read at least 30 minutes during our closure and submitted a book recommendation. They got to select a brand new book from Ms D'Haene's bookcase for their libraries at home.

We are so excited to welcome the Eagles back to the nest today for our second "first day" of school. We've missed you!

What's popping at Arrowwood? On Friday, April 24th the PTO will be back in business and popping delicious popcorn for the Eagles! Thank you to our volunteers for the hours they spend preparing this great treat for our students.

Huge thanks to the best "Office Squad" around! Happy Administrative Professionals Day to Mrs Gohm and Mrs Bringer in the Arrowwood main office! These two are the definition of multitasking ninjas, keeping our school running smoothly with a smile. We appreciate everything they do for each of the Eagles soar to new heights!

What's on the lunch menu for this week? Thursday's lunch will be as planned: Tangerine Chicken. Friday will be Stuffed Crust Pizza instead of Garlic Bread Pizza. The Arrowwood family grew over the past couple of weeks. Congratulations to Mrs MacMurray's family who welcomed Kenna Jean Louise. Big brother is loving helping g to take care of her.

Arrowwood Elementary will be closed Wednesday, April 15th, due to flooding. All activities, Step by Step and the After School Program will also be cancelled at Arrowwood. All other STCS schools are open.

The Arrowwood PTO is so excited to invite our families to join us for a sweet start to the day next week! We can't wait to see you there for Donuts with Grownups.

When to Join Us:
Third Grade: Wednesday, April 15th
Fourth & Fifth Grades: Thursday, April 16th

Morning Details:
Time: 7:00 AM – 7:30 AM (Students will head to class at 7:30)

Entrance: Please enter through the Arrowwood Conference Center.

Extra Fun: The Book Fair will be open during this time! It’s a great chance to browse and shop together before the school day begins.

We hope you can make it to enjoy breakfast and some special time with the student in your life.

Ms Frost and Ms V's room was magically transformed to Cafe 324. A local spot full of marvelous mystery delicacies for third graders to sample. On the menu a couple of A to Z Mysteries, King and Kyla, and a few other thrilling adventures for students to try before diving into to their latest book club.

Mrs. Hill was happy to accept an invitation to this afternoon's book tasting from Mrs. Selk and her 3rd grade class. Students entered the fancy restaurant and sampled 3 courses of mystery books for their next unit. It was an absolute treat!

The Scholastic Book Fair is open for business! Mrs. Charity and the PTO will be available for shoppers each day from 7 to 3:30, Monday through Friday. They even have a special station where you can buy a book for your child's classroom. We can't wait to see what our readers take home! 📚

Today marks Day 1 on Testing Island. You’ve practiced the strategies, you've reviewed the maps, and you are ready for the challenge.

Don't panic if a question feels like a blindside. Take a deep breath, use your shield (review your answers), and keep climbing the mountain. You have the grit and focus to make it all the way to Final Tribal Council and earning your immunity idols.
