The Eagles sprung into new adventures at Spring into STEAM tonight at Arrowwood. We were so excited to have a full house of families exploring coding robots, digging into owl pellets, and marble bookmarks. Thank you to SVSU STEM and the CAN Council for joining us to share resources and the Arrowwood PTO for donating pizza. Special appreciation to Ms. Rousseau, Mrs. Raines, Mrs. Doyle, Ms. Tweedle, Ms. Frost, Ms. V, Mrs. Mason, Mrs. Mahoney, Mrs. Annear, Mr. Clarey, Ms. Rivera, Ms. Lewis, and Ms. Muylle for helping to plan and volunteering for the evening.

More Kind Kids shared books today - This time 3rd graders from Mrs. Selk's and Ms. Thompson's classes read to 5th graders in Mrs. Annear's room. The 5th graders modeled kindness with their listening skills and reading support.

Tonight is the night! We hope your family can join us this evening from 5:30 to 7 PM for Spring into STEAM Night. Lots of stations for families to explore with science, technology, engineering, art, and math.

Some of Mrs. Anderson's 5th grade Kind Kids Club members flew to 3rd grade and read books with themes of kindness to Ms. Csongradi's class.

Time is ticking on creating a memento from your child's artwork and support our PTO. Order deadline is March 18th. Online: www.SquarelArt.com/Shop

Congrats to all of our students who participated in the History Bee 🐝 at Arrowwood. Students dug into lots of The Who was and What was series. Thank you to Mrs Charity for organizing this club and event.

It was a battle today in Mrs Annear's classroom as students determined if it's poetry or rap for the start of their unit 3 for Amplify CKLA. Students visited examples around their classroom and voted for what the example was.

Congratulations to this week's PRIDE Students of the Week. Watch out as these Eagles 🦅 are soaring to new heights!

It's the fifth grade Eagles 🦅 turn to take the stage. We hope you can join us on March 19th!

Cardboard and creativity were hard at work in Ms White's classroom on Friday. The Eagles 🦅 were some of the first to use the cardboard saw and tools to build with our new tools. Thank you Ms Rousseau's and Mrs Raines for writing grants for the purchase of three sets of cardboard saws and tools for our Curiosity Nest 🪺.

We are springing into good books 📚 at Arrowwood as each of the Eagles 🦅 received their finger lights for our first DEAR time of the month.
