Buddy classrooms between Ms Thompson's third grade and Ms Tweddle's fourth grade joined forces on Thursday . The Eagles presented their final informational research projects.
All STCS schools will be closed Friday, January 30th, due to power outages in the district. Step by Step and the After School Activities Club will also be closed. Staff, except custodial and maintenance, need not report. Decisions regarding events will be communicated from the individual schools or athletic departments.
Our Student Council works hard on many different projects throughout the year. One of those is creating and running a Care Closet, where all Arrowwood students can go to get items they might need throughout the school day. These items include hygiene supplies, school snacks, socks, winter gloves, and more. To restock our inventory, classes will be competing to donate the most items to the Care Closet. The class who donates the most items from each grade will win PJs and Play, a day where they schedule an extra recess and can wear their pajamas to school. Our new KNOTS and Unified Hawks gear will be available to order until 11:59PM tonight, Tuesday, January 27th. The new logos were designed by Trace Ervin, a former Eagle! Options include short and long sleeve shirts, and crewneck sweatshirts. Proceeds benefit the KNOTS program across the district.
