Happy Thanksgiving to all of our Eagles, families and school community!

What do you do when you hit a goal and complete a slice of your ALEKS goal? You have pie with your principals. Thurs graders who got their target enjoyed a delicious treat this afternoon

Miss Csongradi's classroom was getting curious, building pinball machines and Lego towers, designing rc rover, folding origami, and painting in the Curiosity Nest.

Ms Shanna's students practiced life skills on Monday by preparing a Thanksgiving feast and enjoying a meal together to celebrate the holiday.

Congratulations to our PRIDE Students of the Week! These Eagles 🦅 are soaring to new heights.

It was a lively and fun morning at the Girls on the Run 5K. These girls, their coaches, running buddies, family, and friends made for the perfect day. Our team set goals, cheered each other on, and took on the race at their own happy pace. We couldn't be more proud 👏

Eagles flew the nest today as a part of community based instruction. Students from Ms Marisa, Ms Tera, Ms Lewis and Ms Shanna's classrooms explore Mid Michigan Gymnastics.

Thanks to STEM @ SVSU for the K'NEX roller coaster building set.

Congratulations to this Rising Eagle who finished his fifth grade math on ALEKs and will be soaring to sixth grade now!

STEAM Night was a success! A big thank you to the students and families in attendance, the planning committee, staff volunteers, Heritage HS volunteers, the PTO, and our custodial team. You all made this a great night for everyone!
An extra special thank you to our community partners, STEM @ SVSU and the CAN Council for joining us to provide even more fun and resources for our families.

🎻 A Musical Morning at Heritage High!
Our STCS 4th graders took a field trip to Heritage High School today, where they learned all about the orchestra and enjoyed hearing several beautiful pieces performed by our talented student musicians.
Thank you to the Saginaw Community Foundation Grants for Excellence, who awarded a grant for 'Making Music Connections,' and to Heritage orchestra for inspiring our future musicians!

We ended the day with these two special Rising Eagles who are now working on math at 2 grade levels above their own. Congrats, you two! 👏

Arrowwood’s Taco Squad kicked off Taco Tuesdays for the year by celebrating the memory of someone incredibly special to us — Jake Mattheis. He loved their meals and mentoring our students, and we loved him right back.
Tacos were also delivered to Weiss in honor of Jake’s mom where Jake's mom now works. The squad is grateful to share that today's fundraiser was the BIGGEST SALE yet and all funds will go to sponsor the KNOTS Program. We know that Jake helped the day go smoothly from start to finish.
Thank you to everyone who showed support, and an extra-sweet thanks to our little taco-delivery angels who brought smiles — and meals — right on time!

The lost and found is bursting at the seams! We've got a collection of sweaters, coats, gloves, water bottles and more. Let us know if you see something that belongs to your child or remind them to come check for their missing items. Thank you!

Students in Ms Csongradi's classroom are working hard in small groups to grow as readers.

Congratulations to this week's PRIDE Students of the Week!

Ms. Krupp (SVSU Student) taught Mrs. Annear’s class about the life and cultural development of people living in West Africa before the 16th century.
