Saginaw Career Complex Summer Camps

Come explore different careers this summer at the Saginaw Career Complex. Camps will be offered June 13-14 (Culinary), June 26-27 (Camp Discovery & Construction), June 28 (Military) and June 27-29 (Graphic Arts). Snacks and lunch will be provided. Summer Credit Recovery

2023 Career Exploration and Job Fair on Thursday, May 11

The Career Exploration and Job Fair will be on Thursday, May 11 from 10:30am-1:00pm. Local businesses, organizations, colleges and universities will be here to share information and opportunities with students. All students are encouraged to participate during their lunch periods after eating. A list of participating businesses, schools and their current opportunities is posted in most of your classrooms. Because time is limited at lunch, students are welcome to sign up for extended time at the job fair using the QR code on the screen or by stopping to see Mr. Sandow or Mrs. Hill. A pass will be made and provided to excuse the student for these requests. Students are encouraged, but not required to bring a resume.


2023 Yearbooks!

The 2023 YEARBOOKS HAVE ARRIVED! The Yearbooks have been delivered to Heritage and will be distributed during Spring Fever! If you have not yet ordered a yearbook you still have time. However, you are encouraged to act quickly as there are ONLY 50 Yearbooks left to order. When they’re gone, they’re gone. Absolutely NO extra yearbooks have been ordered! DO NOT miss out on your opportunity to have a yearbook this year. This is your LAST opportunity! Yearbooks have sold out in the past, so don’t wait until it’s too late. Pick up an order form on the Yearbook bulletin board in the Student Center or order online using the Yearbook link found on the Heritage website. All yearbook orders MUST be paid in full when ordering.


Senior Cap & Gown Delivery

Seniors, Cap & gown delivery will be on Thursday, May 11 during lunches and after school from 2:40 - 3:15 in the hallway in front of the trophy case. You will need to check in at the Cashiers Office prior to picking up your cap & gown.


Triple Achievement Honor & Cord

April 26, 2023

The Triple Achievement Award is an honor for graduating students that excel in three areas. They include academics, athletics, and extra-curricular activities. Each of the three sections has its own specific requirements that will have to be met in order to receive this honor. If earned a cord can be purchased to wear at graduation. Applications can be picked up in the Athletic Office and are due by noon on May 5th back to the athletic office. Thank you and GO HAWKS!


Summer STEM Opportunity

Current 9th-12th grade students interested in STEM are invited to a FREE 4-day STEM Innovators Program at SVSU! Participants will work with SVSU engineering, business, and health sciences faculty to explore innovative STEM solutions, develop a business idea, conduct a feasibility study, learn marketing strategies, design a prototype, and pitch your creative solution to local experts. Aircraft Day this Saturday in Midland

Aircraft Day The Midland chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association invites you to their Aviation College and Career Day at the Jack Barstow Airport on this Saturday April 29. This is an informational event beginning at 10am. Students can learn about many different aviation careers, such as pilot, flight instructor, airport management, airplane mechanic, and more. There will be representatives from Slipstream Aviation and various higher educational institutions.

Do you want to improve your wellness? Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) aims to create a healthy and positive environment through leadership and smart decision making. Join Students Against Destructive Decisions to talk about mental health, substance use, and more. We’ll participate in red ribbon week, volunteer projects, chocolate Tuesdays, and mobility safety events. SADD is also a place where students can de-stress by participating in relaxing self-care activities ranging from journaling to meditation. Please come to the first SADD meeting after school next week on Tuesday, April 25th in Mr. Wilson’s Room 115.
