Boys Tennis Summer Practice Schedule (2019)

Here is the plan for the summer practices for tennis this year:

Conditioning/Open Tennis: July 15 - 18  (10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.) at Heritage High School

Conditioning/Open Tennis:  July 22 - 25  

Conditioning/Open Tennis:  July 29 - August 1 

Conditioning/Open Tennis:  August 5 - 8  

1st Week of Official Practices:  August 12 - 16

Practices:  August 26 - 30  (3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.)

Once school begins, practices will be from 3:30 - 5:00, Monday through Friday.

Just a reminder that physicals need to be in before the first day of official practices August 12.  

The weeks of conditioning/open tennis is voluntary.  However, I highly encourage everyone to come if possible.  Last years captains and players; please encourage everyone to attend.  It will be mostly open tennis with some conditioning.  This will help us prepare for the season.   I believe we have the Teal Tournament and two quads before the school year starts!  

Everyone needs to be sure they have a physical on file with Ms. Galer in the Athletic Office before the first day of official practice.  I will be notified by administration if you don’t and then you will not be able to play.  No exceptions!

I know that summer vacations are important.  If you are going to be gone, please let me know.  If vacations are planned during our official practices, you need to make it to most of the open tennis/conditioning sessions.

For our away matches, the school rents vans for us to use.  The team needs at least one parent driver for each away match.  

I would also like for a parent to create and maintain a Facebook page for the upcoming season.  This will make communication much easier and we can all share photos of our season.
