With Homecoming just around the corner, we have a handful of announcements:
White Pine will have a float in the Homecoming Parade. Students who want to walk in the parade will need a permission slip, which will be available by the end of the week. Students will need their own transportation after school to Sherwood Elementary. Further information will be on permission slip.
🍬 We would love for our students to throw candy to the kids along the parade route! Any candy donations would be greatly appreciated and can be dropped off in the Main Office up until the day of the parade.
Lastly, we will have a Homecoming Spirit week September 21st through 25th! Days of dress up are listed below.

Curriculum Night will be held Tuesday, September 1st. Times are as follows:
6th Grade: 6 - 6:20pm
7th Grade: 6:30 - 6:50pm
8th Grade: 7 - 7:20pm
You'll have a chance to meet teachers, purchase Hawk swag, and support the White Pine Parent Council's Kona Ice fundraiser. There will also be an optional meeting about the spring Cedar Point trip for 8th graders at 6:30 in the auditorium.
An information pamphlet will come home with students today, which they should bring back with them to Curriculum Night. We hope to see you there!
We would like to say thank you to the White Pine Parent Council for always supporting our WEB program and purchasing our t-shirts, buying lunch for the WEB Leaders on orientation days, and paying for the reminder postcards that were mailed to all families in June. We greatly appreciate their support!
