White Pine welcomed the 6th graders on August 12th & 13th with a tour by our amazing WEB Leaders. Web Leaders are 8th grade students trained by our WPMS Counselors. All of them have taken time out of their summer to learn how to mentor our incoming 6th graders. They did an amazing job helping the 6th graders and their parents feel welcome, finding their classrooms, and answering their questions.
We would like to say thank you to the White Pine Parent Council for always supporting our WEB program and purchasing our t-shirts, buying lunch for the WEB Leaders on orientation days, and paying for the reminder postcards that were mailed to all families in June. We greatly appreciate their support!

The White Pine Cross Country team had a great first week of practice. If your student is still interested in running cross country, it is not too late to join the team. The White Pine Cross Country team is open to all 6-8th grade student. In order to participate in practice, athletes will need to have a physical uploaded to final forms. Practice is Monday through Friday from 4:00 to 5:45pm, and they meet on the benches between the track and gym. We look forward to having your student on the team this fall.
