Welcome to Arrowwood Elementary!

I am Ms. Bekah D'Haene and I am thrilled to be serving as the building principal for Arrowwood Elementary.   This school year marks my 18th year in education and my fourth year in Saginaw Township Community Schools.  Over that time I primarily taught middle school science as well as first-second grade split and fifth grade in Mt. Morris and East Lansing before moving to STCS.  In addition, I served as a middle school assistant principal for two years.  My passions in education are reading, science, and technology so I am eager to share all of these areas with our students.  I am excited to be a part of an amazing and passionate team of educators here at Arrowwood to ensure the success of all students.        

Outside of school I enjoy spending time reading, camping, gardening, biking, playing soccer, and spending time at our family's farm with my two daughters.  We also enjoy cheering on the MSU Spartans since I went to college in East Lansing.  I received both my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and my Master's degree in Curriculum and Teaching from MSU before attending Oakland University for my Educational Specialist degree in Leadership.
