![]() My name is Bruce Sherbeck and I have been teaching in Saginaw Township for 39 years. I have a Bachelors of Science and Masters degree in Science Education from Michigan State University. I also earned, an Elementary Certification from Saginaw Valley State College. I teach Driver Education at Heritage High School and am a science Product Developer with Science Kit & Boreol Laboratories. Science Kit distributes science materials throughout North America. In 2004 I was recognized as a five product developer for Science kit. I have taught graduate level education classes at SVSU through the Math/Science Center and have presented science workshops throughout Michigan. On weekends I teach Sunday School at Trinity Episcopal Church in Bay City and am playing percussion in a folk-rock band with seventh grade math teacher, Mr. Giffin. I enjoy walking, bike riding, gardening and working on projects around the house. I have been married for 36 years and we have two adult children. Our daughter Jayne, has a bachelors degree from MSU, a masters degree from SVSU and teaches seventh grade Social Studies at White Pine. Our son Dan, has a Bachelors degree from CMU and is currently looking for employment. My wife Cindy, was a K-5 Teacher's Assistant with Bay City Public Schools. She continues to volunteer in the schools, is a talented artist and has many hobbies. Many evenings she is helping me and our daughter with school projects. |
