 Welcome to my web page!

About me:  I am a transplant to Michigan via New Jersey and then Louisiana.  My husband and I have three grown sons who live on opposite sides of the country.  We look forward to the holidays when we get to be a family.  In my free time, I enjoy reading, running, and hiking.

As a special education teacher I work both with children who have already qualified for special education services and with small groups of children who temporarily need extra help.  I think I have the best job in the school district -- working with children from all three grades, seeing them get excited about learning!

As a teacher and a parent I encourage you to spend time talking to your children, reading and writing with them, and playing games that help develop their math skills.  Also, make sure they have a good night sleep and a healthy breakfast.

Most of all, enjoy your children, I certainly do!
