Welcome to Weiss Elementary
|
Our office is temporarily located in the Computer Lab, Room 114. Our OFFICE will be open to the public on Monday, August 16th. Please enter through the WEST CLASSROOM DOOR that is designated as the "Office Entrance." Just follow the signs.... Do not enter any other door as the building is under construction, and classroom and hallway visitation is prohibited.
UPDATE - August, 2010
Class Lists We are currently working on class lists, and it will probably be some time before they are complete. This is a task that is usually mostly done in the spring before we leave for the summer, but due to the realignment this year, we still do not have a definite, final list of the students who are attending here. The class lists are coming along, and they will definitely be complete by the end of August. You will be receiving an information letter sometime toward the end of next week. In that letter will be information on how and when you will be able to learn about your child's teacher along with other very important information. Again, we are delayed in sending the opening letter because of transportation information that is being sent to us that needs to be included. Certainly not a typical year, but we are confident that everything will be completed in plenty of time, and we are looking forward to a very successful year.
The renovations are coming along... It is SO EXCITING to see the transformation that is taking place at Weiss School this summer. Not only will we enjoy a new, secured entrance, new office space, and a new (much-needed) storage room, the entire building is getting a face lift with new carpet, plumbing, lighting, ceilings, and counters. The gym is also going to be greatly improved with new accoustics, paint, windows/blinds, basketball backboards, and a new PA system. These changes are only part of all the improvements that are taking place.
