Michigan Merit Exam All juniors in Michigan will take the Michigan Merit Exam (MME). The MME is a combination of tests which include: The ACT, a nationally respected and accepted college readiness examination, the ACT WorkKeys, a work readiness exam, and Michigan developed tests in math, science and social studies. It is a Heritage High School graduation requirment that students take the MME their junior year.
