Center Information
• Licensed by the State of Michigan • Full year program (closed holidays) • Snacks Provided
• Hours are 7 am to 6 pm • Monday through Friday • Registration is for a full year
• Minimum attendance: 2 days per week • Child must be toilet trained
• There is a 2 day sick allowance per year (days added for summer attendance)
• Child must be 3 years old by the time they start the program

Philosophy
Step By Step is committed to recognizing the individuality of each child enrolled in our program. We assist children in developing their own natural talents and help them discover new ones.

An open cooperative relationship between our center and your home is imperative. Together, we share the responsibility of providing a secure and nuturing environment for your child. We focus on the individual needs of the total child, including emotional, cognitive, social and physical skill development. School readiness skills are also emphasized. Your chil's early experiences with preschool child care and school settings will follow them throughout their life. Our goal is to make it a positive one!

Application & Registration
To reserve your child's space in our program, there is a non-refundable $15 individual or $20 family application fee. To get a copy of the application you can either go to the Community Education Forms tab on the left hand side of the page or call the Community Education Office at 797-1847 to have one mailed to you. Registration packets will be mailed to you and are also available at the Community Education Office.
