Schools of Choice - Updated 4/5/2013

The Schools of Choice application period for the 2013-14 school year opened on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 and closed on Tuesday, May 7, 2013.

The Board of Education approved the Schools of Choice plan on Monday, March 25, 2013. STCS will be accepting:

  • K-6 student applications from Saginaw County.

We will also be accepting applications for the following Special Programs from students in Saginaw County:

  • Hemmeter Elementary, qualifying K-5 Gifted and Talented students

  • Heritage High School, 11th & 12th grade students who qualify and take Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate courses.

The following forms include information about enrollment limits, nondiscrimination rules, refusals, preferences, and random selection guidelines.

  • For Grades K-6 students (Saginaw County only): Grades K-6 Application Forms - now closed


  • For Hemmeter Gifted & Talented Students (Saginaw County only):  Hemmeter Application Forms - now closed

  • For 11th & 12th Grade students (Saginaw County only): Heritage High School Application Forms - now closed
