WHITE PINE PARENT COUNCIL
FUNDING REQUEST GUIDELINES
FUNDING: The White Pine Parent Council (WPPC) shall be empowered to authorize expenditures of up to $300 per department per year, budget permitting.
ELIGIBILITY: The following functional departments are eligible for WPPC funding: Science, Math, Language Arts, Social Studies, Music, Art, Industrial Technology, Foreign Language, Drama, Special Education and Physical Education
DETAILS:
To be used for items or services that White Pine Middle School does not normally purchase or provide through funding resources. Include a statement that directly addresses this item.
All required funding materials must be submitted to the WPPC one week prior to the scheduled meeting. Application materials are to be placed in the WPPC mailbox. Please include four copies of all materials.
Funding requests will be reviewed by the WPPC at their regularly scheduled meeting.
Applicant may be asked to appear at the WPPC meeting to answer questions.
Include evidence that the applicant has searched for the lowest price for the item or services requested.
If the funding request is to purchase instructional materials such as enhanced reading material or textbook materials, please check with the principal to verify if the material meets curriculum endorsement. Please have approval from the principal written on the funding request paperwork prior to submission. List Title, Author and the type of book (paperback, hardcover, other).
All tangible items obtained through a WPPC funding request will remain property of the school and will be recorded as such.
Any applicant awarded funding will be asked to submit a brief overview of how the money was used.
