The student of the month awards are sponsored by the Heritage High School Parent Organizaiton to recognize students for signicant, positive actions in school, a change in their lives; or to students who extend themselves above what is expected. We recognize some students for a change of attitude, a raise in grades, or a positive change in any area. Others, we recognize for positive additions to the classroom, to the school or to extracurricular activities. Some are recognized for being exceptional students both academically and socially. Two awards are given for each grade level every month. Nominations can be made by teachers or other staff members. Awards are given at a luncheon that is attended by the students, their parents, and the nominating teacher. We commend these students for making a positive impact in their lives and the lives of those around them. Congratulations! |
