A lphabet Knowledge  

· Identifies most upper and lowercase letters

B ooks  

· Participates in home reading

(15-20 minutes a day)

· Holds a book and turns pages one at a time

C oncepts of Print  

· Distinguishes between letters and words

D rawing   

· Copies basic shapes

·  Draws a person with five parts

E nvironmental Print  

· Recognizes words in their world (i.e. McDonalds, Family members)

F ine Motor Skills  

· Cuts with scissors

· Proper pencil grasp

G ets Along with Peers  

· Works cooperatively with fellow students

· Shares and waits for own turn

H olds Attention  

· Attends to activities up to 10 minutes  

I ndependence  

· Experiences separation from caretaker with minimal anxiety

J obs

· Understands that people work in jobs

K nowledge About Self  

· Recites personal information (guardian's names, phone numbers, address, birthday and age)

L istening

· Follows two-step directions

· Responds when others speak

M anners    

· Expresses common courtesies towards others

N umbers 

· Recognizes numbers 1-20
