To vote in the November 6, 2007 school election, you must be a U.S. citizen; at least 18 years of age by Election Day; and a resident of Michigan and Saginaw Township.
You may register to vote at the Saginaw Charter Township Clerk's office, a local Secretary of State office, specified agency offices within the Department of Public Health, Michigan Rehabilitation Services, Department of Social Services, and the Department of Mental Health. You must be registered 30 days prior to an election to be eligible to vote. The official "last day to register" for the November 6, 2007 election is October 9, 2007. Absentee Ballot Procedures:
Absentee ballot applications are available at the Saginaw Charter Township Clerk's office until 2:00 p.m. on November 3, 2007. If you complete the application and return it to the address shown at the top of the application, an absentee ballot will then be mailed to you. You can return the application in person to the Township Clerk's office no later than 4:00 p.m. on November 5, 2007, and at that time you will receive a ballot and be allowed to vote.
